The 2025 Anhui-Hong Kong-Macao Overseas Chinese Youth Roundtable Meeting was held in Wuhu

(Reported by Qi Wenwen and Wang Mu) On December 18th, the 2025 Anhui-Hong Kong-Macao Overseas Chinese Youth Roundtable Meeting was held in Wuhu. Wang Wangmiao, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the Anhui Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and Hou Mingwen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Wuhu Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, attended the meeting.

In his speech, Hou Mingwen, on behalf of the Wuhu Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, welcomed the young overseas Chinese talents attending the meeting. He introduced Wuhu as a fertile ground for innovation, a hotbed for entrepreneurship, a happy place to live, and a homeland where hearts find peace. He hoped that the young overseas Chinese talents attending the meeting would take this roundtable meeting as a starting point to gain a deeper understanding of Wuhu, pay more attention to Wuhu, choose Wuhu for their future endeavors, and work hard in Wuhu. Wuhu will wholeheartedly provide contact services and strong support, making Wuhu a reliable base for everyone's career development and a shared homeland for emotional ties.

The event, hosted by the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and organized by the Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, was themed "Overseas Chinese Youth Gather in Jianghuai, Innovation Towards the Future." A total of 70 representatives of overseas Chinese youth from Hong Kong, Macao, various parts of the province, and the Yangtze River Delta region participated. The event used various forms such as roundtable dialogues, story sharing, and site visits to foster friendship, discuss innovation, and plan for development.
