The First Meeting of the Second Session of the Wuhu New Social Stratum Association was held

(Reported by Zhai Wanqian and Wang Mu) On December 10th, the First Meeting of the Second Session of the Wuhu New Social Stratum Association was held. Hou Mingwen, member of the Standing Committee of the Wuhu Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, attended and delivered a speech.

Hou Mingwen pointed out that Wuhu is currently at a crucial stage in building itself into a sub-provincial center city and vigorously promoting the construction of "six cities," providing a broad stage for the new social stratum to display their talents. He emphasized the need to continuously deepen ideological guidance, consolidate the political foundation for unity and struggle, and widely build consensus. He stressed the importance of focusing on the overall situation, contributing wisdom and effort in offering suggestions and advice, shouldering heavy responsibilities in economic development, and taking initiative in social governance to help promote the city's image. He also emphasized the need to strengthen self-construction, enhance organizational cohesion, combat effectiveness, and influence, and strive to build a cohesive and dedicated collective. He expressed his hope that the New Social Stratum Association would unite and lead all members to contribute even more powerful new social stratum strength to the vigorous writing of a new chapter in Wuhu's modernization.

The meeting elected the leadership of the second council of the Wuhu New Social Stratum Association.
