The Conference on Financial Empowerment for Urban Renewal was held in Wuhu

Ningbo, Secretary of the Wuhu Municipal Party Committee, and Hu Guanghua, General Manager of the Housing and Urban Construction Business Department of the China Development Bank, delivered speeches at the event. Qin Hong, Director of the Urban Renewal Research Center of Renmin University of China; Zhou Jian, National Engineering Survey and Design Master, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University; Wu Pin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Anhui Branch of the China Development Bank; and Wu Zhixiong, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Anhui Branch of Postal Savings Bank of China, also attended.

During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Wuhu will also plan and promote a number of high-quality urban renewal projects. In his speech, Hu Guanghua stated that urban development has entered a new stage of upgrading existing infrastructure, and urban renewal will become an important engine for expanding domestic demand and driving investment and consumption. In recent years, Wuhu has adhered to high-quality development, accelerated urban renewal, and accumulated many valuable experiences and practices. Going forward, the Development Bank will, based on its functional positioning, establish a sustainable investment and financing system, provide high-quality financial services for urban renewal, and help the local government improve its urban renewal model.

This conference aimed to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Central Urban Work Conference and fully carry out the deployment requirements of the National Urban Renewal Work Promotion Conference, empowering urban renewal and high-quality development with market logic and the power of capital.
